If a Man Love Me!
John 14:23
John 15:12 This is My commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.
Mark 14:36 And He said, Ab'ba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from Me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
The Father and Yahushua had planned this event from the beginning of time yet as a man Yahushua felt just as we do going through the trials of His life.
Yahushua had confidence in His knowledge of who He is and what the Word of God had preordained. We, although have not participated in the planning of all things, do play a roll in the bringing to pass those things ordained by God. Knowing this, the love of God toward us, we should not be dismayed or discouraged to the point of surrender. Trusting that God is faithful through His love for us.
Hebrews 12:12-13 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; 13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it be healed.
God through Paul is telling you to have confidence in God. Stay on His path lean not to your understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6) less you fall or continue being afflicted/chastened.
Read Hebrews 12:12-29 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace (divine influence), whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Father we thank you for revealing all things the beginning from the end. To know we have the victory, we are able to walk in the light of Your Word.
Chastisement is but for a short time to the perfecting of us that we may be the image of your Son, Yahushua. That others may see in me the reflection of your Son's love for the world but more for your children of the brotherhood of Messiah. We know what we do to the least of Yours we have done it to You Yahushua. I pray to walk in the love of You which is that of the Father, for as You are one in the Father, I am one in You. I thank you for your Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost power released when I pray in the Spirit. Than to watch as all things work together to Your perfect will. Myself having confidence in your Word, I am able to stand in love and patience as Your perfect work is accomplished not only in me but all those around me.
With all reverence, love and fear in your name Yahuweh I stand by Yahushua's blood cleansed without sin or iniquity knowing Your Holy covenant. Your mercy endures forever in Your Son
